Our Mission:

women rising.

On January 21, 2017, one million Californians marched across the state in the largest single day of protest in American history. Since 2017, Women’s March California (WMCA) has evolved into a state-wide coalition of chapters throughout California.

Women’s March California is a female-led movement that creates an entry points for new activists to engage their local communities members through training, outreach programs, and events.

Women’s March California is comprised of chapters throughout California and is part of a national movement to unify and empower those who stand for women’s rights, human rights and social justice.

Women’s March California actions are non-partisan and peaceful. They give women and allies the opportunity to unite in every community and stand in solidarity for the American values we represent.

Women's March California is an independent organization with an elected board, bylaws, and hundreds of leaders from across the state. We are 100% volunteer-run, organizing over 100 actions each month throughout California.
